History of Gender and Family in Venezuela

Those structures and protagonists of society traditionally relegated by dominant discourses not only by their social class but gender are highlighted by the new research agendas. Recent studies have demonstrated that those sectors, silenced in their societies as well as in the following historiographies have always played a very important role, in fact, an essential role for a real understanding of these historiographies. Today we witness the reemerge of their voices; this research area offers an opportunity to place them at the center of dialogue in the social life.
