Institutional and Territorial History of Venezuela

An essential aspect in the conformation of the nation and the Venezuelan state is the control and organization of its territory. The enormous loss suffered since middle 19^th Century as expression of deep geo-strategic weakness are a constant motive of reflection, anxiety and, in worst cases, a motive of frictions with fraternal and neighbor countries. Therefore its analysis, understanding, and development of proposals to overcome these issues are an important subject addressed by researchers of this research area.
