This research area was defined as a result of the reflections presented in the 14th Assembly of the Network of Peer on Education from the Association of Universities Entrusted to the Society of Jesus in Latin America (AUSJAL). During this event it was emphasized the importance of performing exploratory research in order to have a closer understanding of young people in their institutions and, therefore to base the university formation based on the Common Educative Project (In Spanish PEC) and the regulations of each university.
The project titled “Youth Culture Monitor in the Universities Entrusted to the Society of Jesus in Latin America” takes place in six countries of the region (Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Uruguay and Venezuela). This study is expected to enhance the creation of “an inter university network that promotes the exchange of information, dialogue and permanent reflection that allows knowing the socio cultural reality of youth in AUSJAL Universities to improve and strengthen the formation process of the new generations.”
