An agreement between UCAB and Universidad Politecnica de Cataluña took place for the establishment of Telecommunication Engineering as part of UCAB´s undergraduate programs. A new agreement was signed in 2005 to establish an student exchange program that included the possibility for Tecommunication Engineering Students to obtain a double degree, to perform an internship or to pursue their final academic thesis at the counterpart's Telecommunication Engineering School.
