Since Andres Bello published “The Law of Nations” in 1832 anguished by the imminent war between Chile and the Peru-Bolivian Confederation, the desire to find an order for the Americas has been persistent. After the conclusion of the independence cycle, the great aspirations expressed by Simon Bolivar the Liberator and unfulfilled by the Congress of Panama, and after the first years of the Inter-American wars, the efforts for unity have been constant but unsuccessful until the second half of the 20th Century when a Latin American order starts to take place and which is currently under development. The objective of this research area is to enlighten this process.
