The project establishes a research area on the democratic theory to serve as reference to our researchers, teachers, and students. The objectives of the project are directed to the foundation of a documentation center on the democratic theory, organization of seminars, meeting, and debates with researchers of other national and foreign universities on the problems of democracy, as well as the foundation of an academic chair to bring the debate on democracy further away from campus and into the center of Venezuelan society.
