The Legal Research Institute started to develop since its beginning a series of research in this area in order to attend the general agreement on the need for change in the administration of justice and the understanding, at least in the academic sector, that these changes must be driven by prior studies. Without external funding, the Institute developed works such as “Knowing a Program, Itinerant Criminal Judges” (1993), “Investigative Support for Justice of Peace (1994), “The Functioning of Enforcement Courts from the Criminal Circuit of Caracas Metropolitan Area” (2001), “Evaluation of Adolescents Criminal Responsibility Courts of Caracas Metropolitan Area”(2003), “Educational Trial: Rhetoric or Pedagogic Communication?”(2005).
